Portraits
Betty Tyler works primarily with the figure in“Old Masters Classical,” and “Contemporary Impression,”sometimes with a touch of abstraction. She studied art at North Carolina State University, watercolor seminars with Don Andrews, Paul McCormick and Rodney Moser and numerous Portrait artists. After returning from Rome and Florence, Italy she studied with classical portraits artist Marla Crawford. She strives to create work which engenders tranquility, mystery and hope. She is a member of “The Portrait Society of America.”
Painting a variety of art, she has two major exhibits a year; May and November. Her work is in corporate offices, boardrooms, private homes and Universities.
